Mr. Do Hong Nguyen – Head of Science, Technology and Quality Control Department and othaer professional officers of TKV Group, Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung – Vice Rector of Vinacomin School of Business Administration, Mr. Nguyen Quang – Deputy Head of Safety – Security Surveillance Department of National Cyber Safety Monitoring Center have attended the meeting..

From the corporation, the meeting had the attendance of Mr. Bui Hong Quang – Chairman of the Board of Members of the Corporation, Mr. Nguyen Van Sang – Secretary of Party Committee, Corporation CEO, Directors of the Board of Members, the Deputy General Directors, President of the Community, Head of departments and other staffs of IT department of the Corporation.

Facing cyber attack & information security challenges, production and business databases now need to raise end-user awareness, improve availability and security incident response skills.

IT department reports on current status of IT team and implement IT program & number transformation program of the Corporation for the period 2020-2025; Rehearsing respond to attacks that sabotage production and business information databases. The assumed situation is that hackers send emails / links with malicious code / viruses to users and spread out to the whole system, causing the entire database at the server (DC) to be encrypted. The inability to access has seriously affected the continuous production and business activities of the Corporation.

Through actual inspection, CEO Dang Thanh Hai acknowledged and appreciated the results achieved by the Mining Chemical Industry Corporation as well as the Thai Binh Amon Nitrate Factory. The CEO directs Micco and its affiliates should continue to tighten safety, not be subjective in production, especially in transporting explosives precursors and IEMs. To Thai Binh Amon Nitrate factory, it is necessary to pay special attention to the preservation of products in the warehouses, note places where heat sources are generated and ensure to obey regulations.

When the situation occurs, the user informs the IT department, the IT department conducts verification checks and reports to the leaders of the Corporation to deploy DC isolation, activate the DR system, respond to incidents, recover quickly and ensure continuous production and business activities.

He emphasized that the IT team needs to focus on implementing two missions:
Firstly: continue reviewing the Corporation’s IT infrastructure to meet the digital transformation program
Secondly: promote high school construction, reduce paperwork. To be the leader in IT application and digital transformation, IT department needs evaluate the advantages, limitations & lessons learned in order to deploy and replicate the advantages in the future.
