To take control supplying sodium nitrate raw materials in the production of industrial explosives, to avoid dependence from foreign suppliers, to control the quality of input materials of the production process and to reduce product’ costs. At the same time, using a part of Nitric Acid product from Thai Binh Ammonium Nitrate Factory to improve the operational efficiency of the Plant, creating products to increase production and business efficiency, the Corporation has been successfully researched on Nitra nitrate.

Since 2017, the Corporation has completed the project and deployed industrial production, the Natri nitrat product produced by the Corporation at the IEM Center has the same quality as imported Natri nitrate and is good for the producing industrial explosives emulsions.

Since the production commencement up to now, more than 3,700 tons of Natri nitrate have been produced, ensuring complete replacement of imported Natri nitrate raw materials used for the production of emulsion explosives packers of MICCO, providing for factory Z and initially exported to a number of clients in world. The total revenue achieved from Natri nitrate production is more than 35 billion VND, creating jobs at the IEMs Center, improving the qualifications of employees and affirming the ability to research and develop and manufacture chemical products of the Corporation’s technical employees.

Efficiency in production research compared to investment in technology and equipment transfer: the cost of research and application in production is only 16.3% of the cost of equipment investment and technology transfer from foreign countries (compared on the same investment rate).
