Report on the performance of Environmental Impact Assessment (also known as post-EIA) is an environmental document for which the EIA approval is obtained from the production, business and service establishments (for investment projects preparing to deploy construction) need to report on the impact of environmental protection.

1. Report on the results of the implementation of EIA based on Environmental Protection No. 55/2014 / QH13 Issued by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on June 23, 2014, takes effect from January 1, 2015;
- Decree No. 179 / 2013NĐ-CP dated 14 November 2013 of the Government providing for sanctioning of administrative violations in the field of environmental protection.
- Decree No. 40/2019 / ND-CP dated May 13, 2019 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Decrees detailing and guiding the implementation of the Law on Environmental Protection;
-Circular No. 25/2019 / TT-BTNMT dated December 31, 2019 of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment detailing the implementation of a number of articles of Decree No. 4/2019 / ND-CP dated May 13, 2019 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Decrees detailing and guiding the implementation of the Law on Environmental Protection and regulations on the management of environmental monitoring services..
2. Subjects must make reports on the results of the implementation of EIA
- Projects that are required to report the results of the implementation of environmental protection works are specified in column 4, Appendix II, Section I, Appendix issued with Decree No. 40/2019 / ND -CP;
- The agency competent to inspect and certify the completion of environmental protection works is the agency that approves the project's environmental impact assessment report.
3. The report on the performance of environmental protection works
3.1. Prepare and submit a Test Operation Plan
Prepare and submit a plan for test operation of project waste treatment facilities to the provincial specialized agency on environmental protection where the project is to be implemented and the EIA report approval agency at least 20 working days in advance from the date of commencement of test operation using the form No. 09, Appendix VI, Section I of the Appendix issued together with Decree 40/2019 / ND-CP.
3.2. Making report on results of environmental protection works:
A report on results of environmental protection works of the project's operation phase includes:
+ One (01) written request for inspection and certification of completion of environmental protection works;
+ Seven (07) reports on the implementation results of environmental protection works of the project, together with the results of monitoring during the test operation and completion documents of environmental protection;
+ 01 copy of the approval decision together with a copy of the project's environmental impact assessment report;
+ 01 document of the provincial-level specialized environmental protection agency notifying the results of the test operation of treatment works of the project.
4. Content of report on completion of environmental protection works
The contents of the report presenting the environmental protection works that have been built include:
- Waste water collection and treatment works;
- Works for dust, exhaust gas treatment; solid waste storage and treatment works; Hazardous waste storage and treatment works;
- Environmental incident prevention and response works and other environmental protection works as well as results of test operation of waste treatment facilities, specifically as follows:
a) Wastewater treatment works
+ Description of technical parameters of the water and drainage system; location of these works together with illustrative diagrams;
+ Wastewater treatment works that have been built and installed: clearly describe the technological process, the capacity scale, the technical specifications of the works, the equipment that has been built and installed to meet the treatment enquiries. Treat wastewater generated from the project and the quality of the treated wastewater meets the permitted standards;
+ results of trial operation of Wastewater treatment works.
b) Dust treatment works
+ List fully the installed works and measures to treat dust and exhaust gas;
+ Installed dust and exhaust gas treatment;
+ results of test operation of dust and exhaust gas treatment works.
c) Solid waste storage and treatment works
Description of solid waste storage facilities; clearly stating the scale and technical specifications together with detailed designs of solid waste treatment facilities in case the project owner
